Convert a Capital One statement to Sage

Sage won't read a PDF, and Capital One won't export straight to Sage. Convert your Capital One statement into a clean, categorized CSV, then import it into Sage Accounting in a couple of clicks.

Why Capital One statements don't import into Sage directly

Sage imports bank data from CSV, not PDF, so a Capital One statement has to be converted first. Capital One card statements group rows by cardholder; the converter flattens them into a single transaction list. You get one clean, Sage-ready ledger instead of fighting merged cells and split columns.

How to import a Capital One statement into Sage Accounting

  1. 1. Convert the statement. Upload your Capital One statement PDF and download the categorized CSV.
  2. 2. Open the bank account. In Sage Accounting: Banking → select the account → Connect/Import → Import Statement.
  3. 3. Map & import. Map Date, Amount, and Description to the CSV columns and import.
